Erich Maier, who worked for 10 years as a forklift truck operator in our stock logistics, celebrates his jubilee in October.
With his home advantage as native Bartholomaean, he moves our container modules always reliable and sent through the rental park of OECON Headquarters.
15-th jubilee Hartmut Biess
For 15 years, Hartmut Biess brings in a wide range of abilities to OECON Produktions GmbH.
His beginnings were in the range of site trailer manufacturing and in the field of sheet metal and wood processing.
Today, Hartmut Biess is responsible for the production of doors and container wall panels.

The OECON teams decampment into the future: After different single trainings (on the subjects Assembler's continuing education, Fair training, Leadership circle-Coaching) the first employee's strategy seminar with the management consultant Franz Josef Gomolka and the OMG staff took place on the 22nd of October 2008 in the manufacturing halls of the OECON Mobilraum GmbH in Bartholomae.
Result after nearly two power hours:
The OECON team has understood and takes part unanimously.
Manager Gunther Gühne has recognised the signs of the time and heads for a good future with his team.
Round 2 of the employee strategy seminar is still planned this year.
On the 10th of July, 2008 OECON organised in cooperation with the management consultant and course instructor Franz-Josef Gomolka the executives seminar on the subject 'business principles' to which OECON manager Gunther V. Guehne as well as the whole group of leaders of the OECON Mobilraum GmbH was invited at the Steinheimer hotel 'zum Kreuz'.
In several actively taking place seminar rounds strategical enterprise aims were defined, plannings were carried out and the business principle was confirmed after careful check.
The next appointments are already firmly agreed in September and October.

'From an assembly employee to a customer related foreign minister'
For the perpetual continuing education of our assembly employees and for another plus in service for our customers a one day seminar on the subject 'customer orientation' was organised by OECON in cooperation with the management consultant Franz Josef Gomolka. The seminar lessons took place on the 23.06.08 in the sports and educational centre of Bartholomae.
Beside an outsiders´ perception and self-image - analysis important tips and ideas were indicated to the employees to leave a positive and above all remaining impression to their customer.
15 Years of OECON Mobilraum History
Worldwide growing demand for mobile space from Bartholomae
Bartholomae. „Someone who thinks being something has stopped becoming someone“ - with this Sokrates citation CEO Gunther V. Guehne explained the secret of the growing business success of the OECON Mobilraum GmbH. During the celebration of the 15 years company jubilee Gunther V. Guehne compared his philosophy with the company's incredible economic increase.
In 1993 OECON started with only 5 employees and by the end of the year the number of employees increased by over 100%. Also the container stock of the inhouse rental park raised from 1.350 container units in 1995/1996 to almost 3.500 until 2008.
The strength of OECON is according to Mr. Guehne, “the Full-Service as producer of mobile systems with a wide range of different products”.
Whether there are containers, pavilions, modular-systems, fair buildings, technical assets or the new Premium line named SILVER-LINE, the CEO pointed out that “there are no constructural limits”.
As “quantum jump” Mr. Guehne described the lately decided and within a short time realised two shift business in the OECON subsidiary in Halle/Saale. With the inhouse rental park in Bartholomae the company is able to serve the worldwide growing demand of high quality mobile space units.
At the moment OECON is busy with producing demountable container units to create a “container city” for the Champions-League soccer game in Moscow. Namable automotive manufacturer like Prosche, Audi and Mercedes-Benz are also among the clients of OECON.
The individual mobile room units have been already delivered to Iceland and Antarctica, “because our containers complied with all climatic requirements”, according to Mr. Guehne.
With 110 employees, 3 sales offices in Bartholomae, Halle/Saale and Munich and numerous distributors throughout Germany the company developed from a small craftman's establishment to a wealthy medium-sized business.
In future there should be more decentralised deposits in order to reduce freight costs. The final CEO conclusion is: “Our containers have their price. We refuse an economic growth account of container quality”.
The invitation to the 15 years company jubilee responded representatives of the domestic companies, members of district councils and Mr. Thomas Kuhn, the mayor of Bartholomae.
To involve the township in the prospering business growth, the CEO Mr. Guehne handed out a donation amounting to 1.000 EURO to support the domestic foundation of culture and sports.
The employees of OECON were rewarded as well for the loyalty to the company. During the 2,5 days lasting works outing to Halle/Saale and Leipzig the necessary teamplayer skills could be enhanced and by the personal contribution of every employee the trip was a fully success.
